Ir. Chen Thiam Leong is a registered Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate with over 45 years of experience in Building Services, Energy Efficiency, Sustainability Fire Protection, etc.. He serves BEM in various standing committees including as Chairman of PCE Common Paper. He graduated in Bachelor of Sciences (Mechanical Engineering) from Leeds University United Kingdom. Ir. Chen currently is an advisor to Primetech Engineers Sdn Bhd. He is also active in engineering fraternity and was the past Chairman of the Association of Consulting Engineers Malaysia (ACEM), Insitution of Fire Engineer (UK) Malaysia Branch (IFEM) and Member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (MASHRAE). He is also the advisor to Malaysia Building Automation System Association (BASAM) and Honorary Life Advisor of Malaysian Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Association (MACRA).
