Ir. Magdalene Tan Lee is a registered Professional Engineer with Practising Certificate (PEPC) with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM). She has been very passionately active with BEM in various roles for the past 3 decades, including as Board Member and Chairperson of the Applications Committee. Currently she serves BEM as a member of Examination & Qualification Committee and Working Group on PAE. She is also an active member in the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia IEM) and was elected as Hon Secretary and Vice president. Ir. Magdalene Tan graduated in 1975 with B.Eng.(Hons). in Electrical Engineering from University Malaya. She had been actively working in Engineering profession especially in the construction industry for the past 4 decades, contributed to nation building especially in the projects she had undertaken e.g. Malaysian Rural Water Supply Scheme, KLIA Main Terminal and the Satellite buildings and Sungai Selangor Water Treatment Plant, SSP3.
