Ir. Prof. Emeritus Dr. K S Kannan is Professor Emeritus at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and is currently attached to ISI Ventures Sdn Bhd in UTM. He is a registered Professional Engineer with Practising Certificate, Fellow of IEM, Chartered Engineer, Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (FIMechE) and Fellow of American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). He was BEM Board member from 1989 to 1992 and 1993 to 1998. Since then, he has been active in various Standing Committees of BEM. Currently he serves in the Application Committee, Examination & Qualification Committee and the Engineering Accreditation Council of BEM. He has presented at several BEM roadshows on topics of BEM engineers’ registration and Professional Assessment Examination (PAE).
