Ir. Megat Johari bin Megat Mohd Noor is a registered Professional Engineer with Practising Certificate in Civil Engineering. He serves on the BEM Examination & Qualification Committee, National Monitoring Committee and Quality Committee. He was instrumental in securing Malaysia as a signatory of the Washington Accord, the benchmark for engineering programmes, while serving the EAC. He was also responsible for Malaysia accession to the Sydney and Dublin Accords, the benchmark for engineering technology and engineering technician education programmes. Presently, he is the Deputy Chair of Dublin Accord and member of the governing group, International Engineering Alliance (IEA). Ir Megat is also the President of Malaysian Society for Engineering and Technology.
